Transcription : "Dear Professor Chahotin. Thank you very much for your letter. I offer you congratulations for the occasion of your eightieth birthday. I enclose some literature concerning the recently formed Peace Foundation. It is our hope that we shall be able to secure very widespread individual financial support in the form of covenants of a set amount for a set period of time. This will be sought simultaneously with our accumulation of large sums. In this way, I am confident that we shall advance quickly towards the achievement of our more ambitious aims. With good wishes".

Traduction : "Cher Professeur Chahotin, merci beaucoup pour votre lettre. Recevez mes félicitations à l'occasion de votre quatre-vingtième anniversaire. Je joins à la présente une documentation concernant la Fondation pour la Paix, récemment créée. Nous espérons pouvoir obtenir un soutien financier individuel très large, sous forme de conventions d'un montant fixe pour une durée déterminée. Nous rechercherons ces fonds parallèlement à l'accumulation de sommes importantes. Ainsi, je suis convaincu que nous progresserons rapidement vers la réalisation de nos objectifs les plus ambitieux".
