"Dear Mister Hitchcock, attention please ! I will write to you in english my self because Helen Scott stay in city of Grasse (short distance of Cannes) for to loose many kilogrammes at the Doctor Pathé Clinic. This sojourns very important for her, says the doctors. How find the english version of the Hitchbook ? Personnaly I am very happy with it because I think it is better than french version, stills biggers and most beautifuls and so the "mise en page". Do you think so ? I saw a marvellous, two marvellous papers about it. 1° in the N.Y. Times 2° In the literary supplément of Sunday N.Y.T. Bride wore black is finished. The first exhibition can be on march or April in Paris. And you ? What about "Case of Nevilheath" ? Are you happy with your script ? I hope you shoot soon [...]". "I am afraid than this letter shall be very mysterious for you, little like egyptian hieroglyphes. I hope you will understand that : bests wishes for this new year, merry christmas, fidèlement yours [...]".
